World Economic Forum, Davos

I went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, for the Guardian, in 2007. That year, the WEF decided to open access to “bloggers” as well as fully accredited media. In fact, the fully accredited media had much less access to the action then the bloggers did. Happily, despite working for The Guardian, I was there as a blogger, as part of the Davos Conversation Page project.
I was also filing audio reports for the Guardian’s news podcast, sending pictures to the front page of Comment is Free - to the slot usually taken by an illustration, and filing copy, like this.
